Wazuh Wizard Installation Instructions
1. Download the installer package
- Visit the official Wazuh packages list and install the correct version for your system from here
2. Change Computer Name
- From the Windows Start menu, type "Name" and hit enter
- Press the highlighted "Change my PC Name" button, and enter
cyberops-followed by the start of your university email address, e.g.jlzeller. - Reboot your computer. Ensure all documents and configurations are saved before restarting to prevent data loss.
3. Open the installer
- Launch the downloaded installer package and accept the license agreement.
- Click Install.
4. Complete installation
- Click Finish when the installation completes.
5. Open the Wazuh Agent
- Launch the Wazuh Agent application.
6. Configure the Manager IP
- Enter the Manager IP address of the server to
10.3.120.4.
7. Save settings
- Click Save.
8. Start the agent
- Go to Manage > Start to start the agent.
9. Verify the agent status
- Check Manage > Status. It should display “Agent running”.
- Ensure your device has received a key by clicking the Refresh button next to Save. You should see a randomized string in the Authentication Key box.
