Wazuh Server Installation

Wazuh's proprietary installation instructions can be found on https://documentation.wazuh.com/current/installation-guide/wazuh-server/index.html.

Wazuh server should be installed exclusively using either the assisted installation method or the step-by-step method. Do not mix installation methods.

NOTE: Wazuh has a desired workflow for installing and deploying Wazuh; as such indexer should already be deployed before beginning the installation process for the server.

Assisted Installation Method

Step 1: Ensure that wazuh-install-files.tar created during Indexer installation is in your current working directory.

Step 2: Download the installation file.

curl -sO https://packages.wazuh.com/4.14/wazuh-install.sh

Step 3: Run the install file and with --wazuh-server \

bash wazuh-install.sh --wazuh-server Wazuh-Server1

Step 4: After the install, run the following commands to disable Wazuh updates.

set -i "s/^deb /#deb /" /etc/apt/sources.list.d/wazuh.list

apt-update
