The Policy Team is the unit that designs safe, user-friendly, and understandable regulations, which ensure that our SOC and Wazuh operations remain secure, stable, and orderly. We carry out this task by specifying the correct usage of the systems, defining the responsible persons, and describing the necessary steps to keep the tools safe and handy.

We concentrate on authoring policies that:

• Protect the Wazuh servers, agents, dashboard, and indexer

• Describe the proper method for accessing, managing, and securing SOC systems

• Make it difficult for security breaches to occur through errors or improper use of security measures

• Give comfort to analysts, engineers, and administrators, because they can rely on the guidance provided to them

• Permit the SOC to implement best security practices and be compliant with the set standards

In essence, it is our role to transform the complicated requirements of security into simple, understandable rules that any team member will be able to follow, thus, ensuring the entire SOC is operating safely, efficiently, and ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌consistently.
